There is a unique privilege which the United States Armed Forces is offering to its servicemen, retirees and their families. The said privilege is what we call the "Space Available Flight" or better known as the "Space A" program.

This program has undergone a big change lately. The once before easy and economical way for personnel to travel around the world has now become harder to avail. Before, mission schedules were readily available on the internet and you could sign up online. But after 9/11, flight information were removed for obvious security reasons and Space A travel was reduced.

There is no centralized process yet for Space A bookings. It has now become a very complicated travel system which requires diligence for people who would want to avail this Space A travel program.

Who are eligible to travel using the Space A program:
1. Uniformed Service Members
2. DoD Civilian Employees
3. Dependents and Family Members
4. Noncommand Sponsored Dependents
5. Employees of Other Federal Agencies
6. Non Profit Service Organizations
7. Foreign National and Alliance Traveler
8. Contractors
9. Educators
10.Athletes and Entertainers
11.ROTC and JROTC
