Finding an airline which offers military plane ticket discounts can be tough. To my fellow members of the US Armed Forces, American Airlines has been a great support in finding ways on how to ease military travels.

Now to add comfort for our US Troops, American Airlines has this Admirals Club Lounges. American Airlines is inviting US military men and women, who are returning on Emergency Rest and Relaxation Leave from Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom, to hang out in between flights at an Admiral's Club Lounge. They are allowed to wait for their flights, enjoy complimentary snacks and softdrinks, watch TV, use the internet or just stretch and relax.
Here are the criteria for availing the comforts of the Admiral Lounge
The following criteria is required for complimentary admission:
* Soldiers on Emergency or R&R leave who are traveling on military charters from Kuwait [Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) or Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF)]
* Soldiers wearing their appropriate travel uniform
* Soldiers having leave forms (DD 31) stating they are on leave from OIF or OEF
The program is effective December 12, 2003, through July 31, 2008, or through the end of the R&R program.
